I’ve gotten to bed late these last few days and, despite being balls-tired, I’ve had some issues actually getting to sleep once I get there. It finally caught up to me this morning. <\/p>\n
Katie had baked some cookies last night and had left a baggie full of them out for me to take to work. It was a kind gesture I appreciated. I also thought that maybe I should take a brownie or two as well. We don’t normally keep that kind of food in the house, so when we do, it doesn’t last long.<\/p>\n
I got a container, tossed in a few brownies, put the lid on, grabbed my cookies and put them in a plastic bag for easy carrying. I got my coat and beanie on and headed for the door. As I passed the recycling bin, I realized I really needed to take that out as well. So I picked up the plastic bag full of plastic bottles, the bin itself, and headed out the door.<\/p>\n
I got to the basement, fed the kitties, and went outside. I opened up the lid on the huge city recycling bin, threw everything in and went to work. When I got to work, I shut my car off, grabbed my phone, and reached for my plastic bag full of cookie\/brownie goodness…and couldn’t find it.<\/p>\n
I looked over, no plastic bag. I looked down at the floor, no plastic bag. <\/p>\n
Fuck.<\/p>\n
Yep, I threw it into the recycling with the rest of the plastic. I recycled cookies and brownies. My shame knows no bounds.<\/p>\n

A little while ago. I needed to call a bank about their email issues. I needed to ask for a lady named Mindy. I called them up and I said:<\/p>\n
“Hi, this is Mindy from XYZ Company, I’m calling about the email troubles you guys are having, can I speak to…wait a minute…did I just introduce myself as Mindy?”<\/p>\n
